It was pure excitement that led us to the home of Luke + Laura and now Baby Ethan! We couldn't contain our joy when we met this little one and deemed him promptly our new best friend! Chase is always making new friends, and this was no exception.

Luke + Laura had just recently been married when they received the news that their family was beginning shortly 9 months later! With all blessings, some anticipated, and some a true surprise life stared to change for this incredible couple.

Baby Ethan is so beautiful, excuse me handsome, and we look forward to spending the year with him, watching him grow and allowing him to truly becoming Chase's new best friend.

Without further suspense: Baby Ethan at 10 days old! Welcome to this beautiful world!

It's a Piece of Cake!!

You have to give credit where credit is due and this time it is well deserved. It's A Piece Of Cake out of Hopewell, VA made this beautiful cake for Jonathan+Kristen's wedding. Their title might be It's A Piece Of Cake but the incredible detail and beautiful design sure looks hard to me. Here are a few pictures we were able to grab at the wedding! Enjoy!

So blessed! So blessed! When I heard that my little brother was getting married, I was just overjoyed! Kristen is the sweetest person you have ever met! And I mean E-V-E-R! I could not have asked for a more wonderful sister-in-law. So when Jonathan and Kristen asked me to shoot their wedding, I couldn't resist! I mean, I L-O-V-E weddings and I L-O-V-E these two.

A weekend of excitement. A weekend of family. A weekend of love. A weekend of God. It couldn't be better. Chase and I spent the time shooting with Kristen's brother-in-law Ross Wilsie of http://www.wilsiephotography.com/. How fun to have such an intimate weekend of fun and family.

A Week of Thanks - Honea Family

Chase and I headed to the Ozarks for a few days of rest. As it turned out, and it always does, I was invited to a family Thanksgiving with the entire Williams' clan and their extended family. I was so excited to meet all of the wonderful people who have contributed to who Chase is and the wonderful man he has become!

Chase has the most incredible family and his Aunt Gayle and Uncle Rusty were no disappointment. In a moment of pure spontaneous fun, I was recruited to take their long overdue family portrait. I was super excited!!! The location couldn't have been more beautiful, and the details of this resort were incredible. Not to mention the delicious light that graced us for this treat.

First of December, A day to remember

It is finally that time of the year again. All the leaves have fallen off the trees, the bitter air gets colder everyday, and warm apple pie really starts to sound good. Christmas songs, christmas lights, food, candy and all sorts of other sights, not too mention the holiday cheer. This really is the most wonderful time of the year. My christmas lights in my apt are on, and I just finished going through 400 plus pictures of a really sweet family we took pictures of this weekend. Taking

and editing pictures is always fun, but there is so much more to it than just that. It's the joy you can bring people by showing them how beautiful they are can never be beat. It's about making people feel great about themselves and loving the time they get to spend with their family and friends during the experience with us. Everybody wins! Oh did I mention its the most wonderful time of the year?
